A Little Bit About Us
We were formed in 1917 and along with Southwell are the oldest WI in the county.
We meet every second Tuesday of the month and you are assured of a warm and friendly welcome. Our meeting start at 7.30 pm with business and opportunities announcements,these usually only take a short time they are followed by a speaker then refreshments and a chance to chat, see monthly meetings page for a list of these for the coming year. We also have several interest groups : Craft group - meeting on the second and fourth Thursdays at 2-4pm during the autumn and winter. Darts - Thursday, 7.30pm again during the autumn and winter. Walking - occasional dates according to the weather! We belong to the Trent Valley Group of WIs which includes Burton Joyce and Bulcote, Gunthorpe and Shelford.
